• Dr. Sharath Shetty has completed his BDS from Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore in the year 2002. In his BDS, he achieved a certificate of honor from Colgate Palmolive India Limited and a merit certificate from ISP, for securing highest marks in the subject of Periodontology. Later on, he completed his Masters training in Periodontics and Implantology from Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore in the year 2005, with the the achievement of Gold Medal for securing First Rank in M.D.S. He is the first Periodontist in India to Pass Diplomate of National Board (DNB) exam conducted by Ministry of Health India (MOHI) Delhi, in the year 2005.
• He was felicitated at 30th Indian Society of Periodontology National Conference for the above achievement in the year 2005. Currently he is also persuing his PhD programme. Currently he is working as, Professor and P G guide, at Dr. D Y Patil Dental College & Hospital, Pune. He has both national and international publications to his credit. He has exclusive Periodontal practice in Pune with special interest on periodontal plastic surgical procedures. He has lectured extensively in the state and national level conferences and also conducted few live surgical procedures at state and national conferences.
